3" Natural Latex Mattress Topper

This 3 inch topper is made from 100% Natural Talalay Latex. And for the mathematicians out there, it has 50% more material than our 2" Topper, providing, you guessed it, 50% more pressure relief!

Our 3 inch multi stretch topper is made from 100% Natural Talalay Latex, with no fillers or toxic chemicals! We sew our own multi-stretch covers and insert the latex. It's available in three different firmnesses: soft, medium and firm. No extra firm? That would kind of defeat the whole idea of a topper...

Pressure Relief

The idea behind this product is to provide additional pressure relief to your mattress. This will mean less pressure points in areas prone to discomfort that you may experience in your shoulders, hips, back and knees. An extra inch of material compared to the 2" topper, does costs more, but you do get 50% more Natural Talalay Latex, resulting in increased pressure relief and comfort.

Firmness & ILD

The ILD is short for Indentation Load Deflection. Basically it's a widely recognized way to measure the firmness of latex foam with a machine. So at Fawcett, we translate ILD into various firmnesses, such as Soft, Medium and Firm. And here's the translation and range!

Extra Soft - ILD 16-20 we rarely carry this as it's too soft for all but the smallest people
Soft  - ILD 21-25
Medium - ILD 26-30
Firm - ILD 31-35
Extra Firm - ILD 36-40 - not for toppers, too firm, but for a lower portion of a mattress can be good for those that require a very firm option. Usually larger heavier people.

Each latex core is stamped with the actual ILD, so if you're familiar with ILD, we can usually get it pretty close to what you may have been sleeping on or are familiar with.

Non Off Gassing Organic

Nice feature of our 3″ Talalay latex topper is it’s removable multi stretch cover. This topper won’t off-gas, because it is made from 100% natural talalay latex rubber, tapped from a Hevea brasiliensis tree. (fancy Latin name for a rubber tree) Hypo allergenic, mildew resistant, anti microbial and dust mite resistant qualities make this one a winner.

Less Expensive? 

You can purchase less expensive toppers. However, they are typically made with either memory foam, polyurethane foam or Styrene-Butadiene synthetic latex. These polyurethane foams do not last as long, and often offgass toxic VOC's. 

Even organic dunlop latex is significantly inferior in our opinion to 100% Natural Talalay Latex. Dunlop is dense and supportive, but does not provide the same pressure relief or resiliency that 100% Natural Talalay Latex does!
