Founded in 2014 by Duane Franklin and Ross Taylor, Fawcett represents the culmination of years of expertise in mattress craftsmanship and furniture design. Duane, Victoria’s premier mattress maker, brings decades of experience and a deep understanding of the perfect materials and methods for creating superior handcrafted mattresses.

From our humble beginnings, we have shared a common vision of offering Canadians a better and healthier sleep experience on personalized mattresses, all at a fair price. With your support, we have grown our presence, expanded our team of talented craftspeople, and established showrooms in Victoria and Nanaimo, while announcing new convenient Canada-wide free shipping.

Our new natural colour Palette will create a uniform brand look and clear identity. Featuring colours that represent Vancouver Island including Cedar, Eucalyptus, Bamboo, Terracotta, Wool, and Cotton.

You may recognize this pattern from the borders on your Fawcett mattress. The Fawcett wave represents the ocean that surrounds Vancouver Island as well as the positive ripple wave effect a great night sleep has on your health.
