Bestselling Latex Topper

Our 2 inch toppers are very popular. So popular in fact that when we did our photo shoot, we didn't have any 2" natural Talalay latex toppers in stock. So, we took images of our 3" topper. Same multi stretch cover, just you guessed it, 2 inches of latex instead of 3.

Available in 3 Firmnesses

This 2 in Latex Mattress Topper is made from 100% Natural Talalay latex, with no fillers or toxic chemicals. It's available in three different firmnesses: soft, medium and firm. We can make it in extra soft too, but in our experience that's only suitable for people under 100lbs! 

ILD

The ILD is short for Indentation Load Deflection. Basically it's a widely recognized way to measure the firmness of latex foam with a machine. So at Fawcett, we translate ILD into various firmnesses, such as Soft, Medium and Firm. And here's the translation and range!

Extra Soft - ILD 16-20 we rarely carry this as it's too soft for all but the smallest people
Soft  - ILD 21-25
Medium - ILD 26-30
Firm - ILD 31-35
Extra Firm - ILD 36-40 - not for toppers, too firm, but for a lower portion of a mattress can be good for those that require a very firm option. Usually larger heavier people.

Each latex core is stamped with the actual ILD, so if you're familiar with ILD, we can usually get it pretty close to what you may have been sleeping on or are familiar with. 

Pressure Relief

The idea behind this product is to provide additional pressure relief to your mattress. This will mean less discomfort in the pressure point areas that are prone to discomfort such as your shoulders, hips, back and knees. - Hopefully not all of them!

Removable Cover

A nice feature of our 2 inch Latex Talalay latex topper is it's removable multi stretch cover. This topper won't off-gas, because it is made from 100% natural rubber, tapped from a hevea brasiliensis tree. (Fancy Latin name for a rubber tree) Hypo allergenic, mildew resistant, anti microbial and dust mite resistant qualities make this one a winner!

Less Expensive?

You can purchase less expensive toppers. However, they are typically made with either memory foam, polyurethane foam or Styrene-Butadiene synthetic latex. These polyurethane foams do not last as long, and often offgass toxic VOC's.  Even organic dunlop latex is significantly inferior in our opinion to 100% Natural Talalay Latex. Dunlop is dense and supportive, but does not provide the same pressure relief or resiliency that 100% Natural Talalay Latex does!

Fawcett toppers are covered by a simple 3 Year Warranty and 30 night comfort guarantee. 30 day returns are subject to the buyer covering any return shipping fees to the nearest Fawcett Mattress shop.
