Here at Fawcett we personalize each and every mattress to fit your specific needs. Side specific firmness for each sleeper on a King size mattress - all included. After your purchase online we’ll send an online private questionnaire to assist us in ensuring we get it right. Prefer a phone call? No problem. We’ll touch base to ensure that your new bed is configured for your sleep preferences. One mattress usually doesn’t “fit all”!
Timeline
Timing for building your personalized mattress generally takes from 48 hours to 4 weeks. Let us know your need and timeline, and we’ll work hard to meet it!
Warranty
Most mattress companies have complicated warranties that are full of small print and confusing legal jargon, but we want to keep it simple. Fawcett mattresses are covered by a simple 10 Year Warranty and 100 night comfort exchange. You can exchange your mattress for the same model of a different firmness or configuration for a fee of $499 including shipping. If you can return your existing Fawcett Mattress to a Fawcett retail location, and pick up the replacement mattress, then we will waive the $499 fee and the comfort exchange will have no cost to you. For areas within 30km of a Fawcett retail location, we can arrange delivery of the comfort exchange mattress, along with the pickup of the original mattress for $99.

What style of sleeper is the Goldstream appropriate for?
The Goldstream is our second most popular mattress. Similar to our Sombrio, it’s an excellent choice for healthy sleepers. Back, side, stomach, and toss and turn? All good. If you have any chronic aches and pains, then you can still purchase this mattress, simply add a 2” or 3” topper.
What makes the Goldstream mattress the cheapest option? Is it inferior?
The Goldstream is the perfect mattress for a health sleeper, children, guest bedrooms or for the cabin at the lake or mountains. We used to call it our “Goldilocks” mattress, but kicked that habit. The spring units are more cost effective for us to build with, so this mattress reflects the cost savings. It’s great value, and priced to help people get into a Fawcett mattress.
Is the Goldstream mattress compatible with a murphy bed?
Yes. The Goldstream mattress is light enough for most murphy beds at 85 lbs for a Queen. It’s also not too thick at 9 inches to be stored in a murphy bed mechanism. Contact us for more information if you need more details.
What is the Goldstream mattress made of?
The Goldstream consists of organic cotton mattress ticking (the outer layer) 2 Inches of 100% Natural Talalay Latex, Joma Wool & a 6” high count individual pocket coil steel spring.
Is the Goldstream mattress flippable?
No, the Goldstream is not a flippable mattress. We do recommend rotating the mattress every 6 months however. This mattress is durable and has an excellent track record.
Is the Goldstream mattress compatible with an adjustable bed?
We don’t recommend this mattress for an adjustable, articulating bed. Although it could be OK, if you are articulating the head or the foot independently of each other. If both the head and the foot are articulated, the spring will be challenged to follow the extreme articulation. Take a look at our all-latex mattresses the, Sombrio and Galiano for an excellent choice for an adjustable bed.
Can the Goldstream mattress be customized?
Yes. However, the personalization of this mattress is limited. We can build it with Soft, Med, Firm and Extra Firm natural latex. However with 2 inches of latex being customized, it has less of an impact on comfort when compared to personalizing 3 or more inches of latex. Generally this mattress will feel medium-firm towards firm.
What kind of bed frame or base works best with the Goldstream mattress?
Almost any bed frame will work with this mattress. The key concern is that whatever the mattress rests on, is that it is able to breath, and the surface must be flat for proper spinal alignment.
